I’m Jingxuan Du. Born and raised in Beijing, I took a massive leap of faith in high school when I
moved to the U.S. entirely on my own. Navigating a new culture and language solo forged the
adaptability and resilience I now bring to every set. I am proudly the first in my family to pursue
the arts.
Before committing to acting and voiceover, my path was highly unconventional. I started out as
a pre-dental student before pivoting to become a financial trader—a journey that taught me both
meticulous attention to detail and how to execute under high-stakes pressure. As a Chinese
national darts champion, precision is literally in my blood. Add in the experience of building a
vibrant community as a TikTok influencer, and I’ve developed a deeply unique toolkit for a
25-year-old actor.
Rooted in the Meisner Technique, my approach to acting is all about finding the raw truth in a
scene. At 6’4″ (194cm), my frame naturally lends itself to characters with strong physical
authority. However, it’s my varied life experiences—from the isolation of being a teen alone in a
new country to the adrenaline of trading markets—that allow me to ground that physical
presence with unexpected emotional vulnerability.
At my core, I’m a dedicated storyteller who thrives on taking risks and bringing authentic,
grounded life to every moment.
