Engineering gave me a career. Film editing gave me a purpose. After a decade of success that
left me feeling hollow, I discovered the craft that finally demanded everything I had. I enrolled in
the MFA program at Academy of Art University, moved from Kansas City to San Francisco, and
found something I never had before — genuine passion and a future worth fighting for. A few
years ago, editing films in Hollywood was nothing more than an impossible dream. After
graduation, I plan to make it a reality.
