I am Quinton Owen, currently enrolled in UCSF, majoring in Journalism. I have degrees in film, cinematography, journalism, and communications. I am in my 3rd year right now, and I plan on graduating. The reason why I am one of the researchers is that there are many problems in America, and I want to know yours. Learning the complexities of people and the issues that need to be said and shown, that also intrigues me as well. I am set and determined on becoming an activist because it’s a goal/dream, and I have my full family’s support. My mother always told me it doesn’t matter what I do, just as long as I finish what I started, and I understand that this will be full of challenges and ups & downs, I plan on moving forward no matter what happens. I come from a big, loving family, I am from the Bronx, New York, and I am looking forward to what’s to come with my path.

I also attend Academy of Art University, in the School of Acting. I am an actor, who loves comedy.
