BHARATHI VUDDHANDRAVU

Fashion – Merchandising / Master of Arts (MA)

School of Fashion

Bharathi Vuddhandravu is a fashion merchandising student based in San Francisco, bringing together a designer’s eye and a merchandiser’s mindset to the way she thinks about products, people, and the market.

Her journey began in fashion design, learning how a garment moves from first sketch to final stitch, and that foundation now shapes how she approaches every stage of the buying process. Today, she channels that fluency into consumer research, assortment planning, retail math, and confident sourcing decisions that balance creativity, function, and profitability.

Bharathi is drawn to the intersection of trend analysis and shopper behavior, where cultural instinct meets data-driven strategy. She approaches brand storytelling and product development with the same rigor she applies to open-to-buy planning and margin analysis, believing the best merchandise decisions are both commercially sound and meaningfully curated.

Outside of her studies, she travels solo, explores retail environments, and spends time closely studying bags, fabrics, and store displays, a practice that keeps her observations sharp and her perspective grounded in real product experience. Her goal is to grow into a fashion buyer or merchandiser who brings thoughtful, sustainable, and well-curated products to market.
