Renny Engbring

Renny is an artist from Telluride, Colorado, and an art teacher in training at the Academy of Art University. Renny has been obsessed with visual art, in many forms, since she was young. As an adult, she decided to pursue her passion and become an art teacher to share it with the younger generation. Currently living in Los Angeles, CA, she spends her time studying, volunteering at schools, and making her own art in her free time.

Renny’s Multimedia Teaching project is inspired by her life growing up in Colorado, and loving the outdoors. Themes of nature – bright colors, texture, patterns, animals and found objects are woven into her work, and into the curriculum that she hopes to teach in the future.
