School of Acting

My name is Min Zo. I am a Thailand-born, Burmese man from Buffalo, New York: GO BILLS! I have always wanted to be an actor since I was a child, but I was too scared to pursue my dream. I got kicked out of school and worked in a factory pressing buttons 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. The machines drowned out my thoughts of escape. It was a very dark and depressing time in my life. However, I needed that storm to see my rainbow. A year later, I was readmitted to school and changed my major to acting.
Since then, I have been able to tell so many stories and have been able to connect with people of all ages, races, and languages. I love this art form to its core. Whether it is on camera, on stage, in class, for two minutes, or 2 seconds, I am happy just to be acting. A professor once told me to tell my story, or other people will, and they are going to get it wrong. So please go out there and tell your stories.
