Lamont Williams

Acting / Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)

School of Acting

Hey, I’m Lamont Lerun Williams. I was born in Ventura and raised in Oxnard, California. The 805-area code: I’ll always defend it. I’m 26-years-old, and can boast that my family is very proud of me. What got me into acting was when my aunt took me to a play three years ago. I realized I wanted to be in the spotlight, no matter what I had to do. I grew up with autism, but that disability became, with discipline, an asset. I discovered I had a creative mind for writing stories: four books, published. That’s right, four – no typo.
I have a way of making people laugh, whether it was the kids in my school, or the soldiers in the military, all of whom laughed at my facial expressions or how I talked. Not mean-spirited by any means.
My love for acting is beyond just speaking the words. I am a student of cinema: watching movies of all genres, and most importantly, studying brilliant actors’ performances.
