Amy’s passion has always been design, and since childhood, she aspired to become an architect and create homes. Her years living in Europe deepened her appreciation for classical architecture and the lasting beauty of designs that have stood the test of time. She enjoys blending traditional and contemporary styles, pairing sleek surfaces and polished marble with welcoming textures like linen, natural materials, aged wood, brick, and stone. Through numerous home improvement projects, and design work for herself, friends, and family, she has gradually honed her abilities.
Several years ago, when her children were young, she returned to school to earn a degree in design. Difficulties arose due to serious family medical issues, chronic illnesses, and disabilities, which forced her to slow my studies and take each class at her own pace while caring for her loved ones. Despite these challenges, she never lost sight of her goals. Now that her children are grown, she is preparing to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture and Design, ready to embark on her “second act.”
