Hi, I’m AJ, a fashion school graduate from the Academy of Art University. Currently based in San Francisco, I’m a fashion journalist, stylist, and activist who craves a circular textile economy. Dedicated to fashion that reflects the signs of the times through deep narratives, I’ve created, critiqued, consulted, styled, forecasted, and directed.
Wearing Marjorie
An editorial photoshoot dedicated to the dream-like state of playing with the vintage toys in your grandparents’ basement as a child. Featuring my great-grandmother’s paintings (made wearable by me), this is an ode to the child-like feeling of entering the world of make-believe. Styled, produced, and directed by me.

A menswear editorial shoot inspired by the 1999 film, Girl, Interrupted, an American biographical drama based on the 1993 memoir by Susanna Kaysen. The film follows 18 year old Susana Kaysen as she spends 18 months institutionalized at a psychiatric hospital after a suicide attempt.
