

Guillermo De Anda is a Mexican sound designer with experience in film, videogames, TV, radio, and digital media. He developed an interest in how sound is used to communicate and its great importance in storytelling. Having a strong interest in both film and music, he discovered his ability to easily comprehend and translate narrative thoughts and emotions into sound. He excels by his use of editing software and a wide variety of plug-ins and processors for recording, editing, and designing sounds. He has experience mixing in surround formats and his area of expertise is sound for film as well as sound design and implementation for videogames. He was selected as a Blue Ribbon Panelist and served as a judge in the 73rd MPSE Golden Reel Awards for the categories of Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing for Non-Theatrical Feature as well as Non-Theatrical Animation.
